Aswan and Abu Simbel Two-Day Trip
Day 1: We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and drive to Aswan (about 240 km from Marsa Alam).
Upon arrival, we will start by visiting the High Dam and Lake Nasser, where you will learn about the dam’s construction and its importance for Egypt. Then, we will visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, located on an island in the Nile.
Afterward, we will take a boat ride on the Nile and enjoy a relaxing time.
In the evening, we will check into your hotel in Aswan, where you will have the evening at leisure to explore the city or relax.
Day 2: After breakfast, we will depart early in the morning for the Abu Simbel Temples (about a 3-hour drive from Aswan).
Once we arrive, you will visit the spectacular Abu Simbel Temples, built by Pharaoh Ramses II. These temples are famous for their giant statues and incredible location.
After the visit, we will return to Aswan and, depending on the time, you can visit the Nubian Museum or enjoy some free time in Aswan.
In the late afternoon or early evening, we will drive back to Marsa Alam (about 340 km).
This two-day trip to Aswan and Abu Simbel will give you the opportunity to experience some of Egypt’s most iconic monuments and learn more about its ancient civilization.
